Week 11 (1)

It’s hard to believe that last week at this time we were having torrential storms that showed no signs of ever letting up. This week it’s downright hot, so warm in fact that some of our young hillside grasses have completely bypassed their days of green and hopscotched straight to dried out and brown. But it doesn’t really matter to me. Whether it’s green carpets of grass or amber waves of grain, both are beautiful and clear signs that winter is finally over. Sunscreen, please.

Fooled you! Probably not. That’s my hair. And let me assure you, we’re not talking amber waves of grain.

Just for goofs, I thought I’d share this little oddity. Click to the next page, please.
