Week 26: Trees
First of all—hello to you all!! How I’ve missed being away. I have to say that I do try to log on every Friday to see the always-amazing photos that you—the few, the diligent, the hardcore—have posted week after week. Very impressive and I’m so sad that I haven’t been able to keep up. I’m digging myself out from under a pile of life right now and I’m happy to say I see the tiniest little Whoville speck of sunlight that’s calling out ever so faintly, “At the end of August you should be moving back into your house. You will get there!” But there’s tons to do between now and then and it feels like it’s been going on forever, which it has, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the little speck continues to get louder and larger every week and allows me to stay current with you all.
For now here I am with tree in hand. I I took this photo the week I was shooting for our ‘green’ assignment way back in March when the trees had no leaves. But it’s all I had and I so badly wanted to post this week that it was either this tree or some random shot of a pencil or the portapotty in front of my house— anything just to get something up.
I hate to leaf now that I’m finally here but I don’t want our circle to be trunk-ated, so let’s branch out to Texas and see the lovely Linsey Stuckey, Houston, TX, http://jackandjanephotography.com/blog/.
